David, I think this message is what is needed in many of our current political contexts. It is often necessary for us to keep in mind that we can be wrong. Conflicting historical perspectives, political strife, etc. all breeds an “I’m right, you’re wrong” attitude. This hebraic message of humbling oneself before God first is the antidote to current political chaos.
