Forgive me if I have misinterpreted the meaning of your comment but I have always been incredibly skeptical of the thought process that we should in some way shape or form walk on eggshells because men who are willing to blow themselves up may get irritated if we do not. If you are a man that is willing to commit A suicidal Jihadist attack against a non combatant populace trying to reason with him or prevent upsetting him seems to be fallacious solution. I would suggest beating him to the punch and nudging him into early retirement the best solution even if his buddies were not so happy about it. Perhaps we beat them to the punch too.
