You brought up an important point, that we need to be aware of the continuing impact of Christian antisemitism. I think one reason it’s important is to make sure there are no vestiges of antisemitism in our own doctrines or worldview. Another reason I see, is to approach Israel with humility over the damage that’s been done in the name of Christ. I agree, listening and showing genuine love, along with taking responsibility for our part in what the Jewish People have suffered, is a necessary step to “redeem the past.”
