I agree with our assessment that the media is a enormous problem that is directed by malicious actors on one side or the other. The vast majority of people here have lost the ability to entertain a thought without accepting it which is the mark of an intelligent mind said by Aristotle I believe. Empathy for our opponents is a delicate balance that is necessary when making crucial decisions and to cleanse oneself of toxic bias but if only one party is doing that it doesn’t work. The media has a stake in division from which it profits and our fascination with entertainment has led to a lower quality of citizen.
