I am very encouraged by the Kingdom focus in this course. This is something that I desire to grow in. When we have a proper understanding of what is coming, we are better able to live our daily lives for the Kingdom of God.
As a Hebraic leader, I have a desire to be intentional with the people that are directly in my life at the present time. I have a tendency to live thinking about what is next, whether that be future ministry or future direction for life, and to neglect the people and opportunities that are directly in front of me at the present time. While planning ahead is important, it is just as important not to lose sight of what God has placed in your path now. So in light of this, and by the Grace of God, I plan to open my eyes to the people around me: my family, the people in my church, the people that I work with. I desire to grow in dependence on God in my prayer life and to lead those around me in prayer as well.
