Angela, I like what you said about the truth of the gospel ultimately prevailing among other religions. I don’t think coercing people to be Christians is a very fruitful strategy in spreading the gospel. History shows us that many forced conversions were not genuine but out of a fear for one’s life or economic status. If it were up to us to win converts, we would do a poor job. But thankfully, God works in people’s hearts through His Spirit to reveal the truth.
