Reply To: After taking this course, in your own words, please define Hebraic leadership and what it means to you.

Benjamin Wearp

I look at “Hebraic leadership” as a lifestyle of effective, cognizant, and balanced leadership based on God’s Word and a relationship with Him. Hebraic leaders know where they are coming from and where they are going, which enables them to carefully weigh the impacts of their decisions.

Hebraic leaders have a map—a worldview based on the Word of God—that gives them a holistic view of God’s plan for humanity. This map is foundational for having vision to pursue things that matter and be grounded in truth. This map shows the Hebraic leader how to navigate through crisis, relate to others, and fulfill God’s mandates for His people. Looking to biblical characters, whose lives are worthy examples to follow, the Hebraic leader draws strength, wisdom and purpose.

Hebraic leadership is about empowering God’s people to rise up and confront the challenges of our time. It illuminates the path through a world of chaos and darkness to seek the Kingdom of God first, bringing His presence near.
