I, too, have avoided politics for most of my life, but I liked what you said about it being a platform that can be used to influence others in a positive way. After taking this course, I looking at a lot of things through a different lens and politics is one of them. I have been praying about ways to get involved and have also decided to seek out opportunities to make an impact at the local level. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
