First and foremost, a Hebraic Leader is someone who is following the LORD. A Hebraic Leader is someone who has come to know the God of Israel that dwells among us and is led by His Spirit. He/she is not someone that is yet following the prince of the power of the air for their eyes are yet darkened. He is not one who is distracted following the culture around him. She is not one seeking the things of this world. The Hebraic Leader is someone first and foremost who is following Jesus, the true and living Messiah of the Jews first and then the Gentiles.
Second, a Hebraic Leader is someone who understands their God-given identity and purpose on the earth. We are called to be pilgrims, spiritual descendants of those who lived and died in faith. We have a spiritual ancestry, those who have gone before us who have generation after generation picked up after one another and passed down again and again to each new generation the Scriptures and the testimonies of the Saints. We are called to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We are not called to hide because of the world’s unbelief and we are not called to water-down through the love of the pleasures of this world.
Third and finally, a Hebraic Leader is someone who understands the grand narrative. We are heading to the promised land, but far too often we become distracted by the various pursuits of this world. Jesus teaches in Matthew 6 that we are to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. He promises that He will add all else to us in His own accord. Let us then hold fast to the faith that Has been entrusted to us for this generation that we might live as servants of God and man so that in His proper timing, we will be exalted!
