Reply To: Why is it important for Christians to keep the sad history of Christian antisemitism in mind when responding to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the present?

Hi Andrew,
Your reply to the question promptly made me think about generational trauma and the idea of tradition and passing tradition down. The ideology of tradition is huge in a lot of Jewish communities-both in how they practice religiously and in day-to-day lifestyle. If tradition says that Christians are prosecutors and that they should not be trusted, then it is understandable why so many Jews have such difficulty trusting Christians today-even when many Christians are Zionists themselves and are fervent supporters of Israel. I think you beautifully illustrated the next steps that we need to take to make amends with the Jewish community-fostering relationships with one another.
