Hi Andrew,
Your reply to the question promptly made me think about generational trauma and the idea of tradition and passing tradition down. The ideology of tradition is huge in a lot of Jewish communities-both in how they practice religiously and in day-to-day lifestyle. If tradition says that Christians are prosecutors and that they should not be trusted, then it is understandable why so many Jews have such difficulty trusting Christians today-even when many Christians are Zionists themselves and are fervent supporters of Israel. I think you beautifully illustrated the next steps that we need to take to make amends with the Jewish community-fostering relationships with one another.
