Hi Ivanna, it is amazing that you are helping others in Guatemala. Part of being a Christian is being in service of others, and it is great that you are doing so. I totally agree with you on the importance of approaching different denominations. Many Near Eastern Christian churches seemed completely foreign and mysterious to me before taking this course. Growing up in the Midwest, there aren’t many Near Eastern denominations like there would be in places such as Los Angeles, New York, or Chicago. Just by learning about them and engaging with them we can bring them into a greater cooperation of Christianity.
