I think it’s interesting, also, that there are 800 commands to Christians in the New Testament. This is something that I think would be very essential for Jews to know about us because many of the Jews think that we Christians support the doctrine that a person just needs to be saved by believing in Jesus and then they are done with God. However, we believe that, yes, salvation is through faith in Christ alone, but that since we believe in Jesus, He gives us new hearts to want to serve Him and obey Him commandments….so obeying God is still essential in the Christians faith. Jews, I believe, are sometimes unaware of this and this turns them away form Christianity since obedience is so important to the Jewish religion.
