Krystal, I love your perspective on this and find that what you said is so true – “if things were simple there would be no conflicts.” This course talked about how, as outsiders to the situation, we often make assumption that are not in line with reality of people who live in the midst of that conflict. Like you said, it’s not a black and white issue; there are sinful people on both sides and so one side will never be perfect or 100% in the right. However, this doesn’t prevent us from supporting the nation of Israel.
