Hi Blake,

This is really well said. You made a good point in mentioning the multitude of ways by which Christians are bound the the people and land of Israel. Our faith stems from Hebraic roots — we have to understand Judaism to understand our own faith. On that same token, we so brutally misunderstood Judaism for 2000 years. Christians persecuted Jews, our brothers in faith, as “Christ-killers” and many other antisemitic tropes. It’s no wonder that Christian antisemitism was such a driving force behind the creation of the modern state of Israel. Because of that, it’s partially our responsibility to help create a sustainable peace in Israel today.
