I really enjoyed your response. Especially about Hamas and the distinctness of the organization- both as something uniquely Palestinian and a proxy of a much greater power (Iran). It’s easy to simplify the issue, and I think this course did a good job of making the topic understandable but not ‘dumbed down’. It’s really useful to analyze Hamas’ role as a tool used in a greater conflict, versus Hamas as its own actor within Israel.
