Reply To: Why is it important for Christians to keep the sad history of Christian antisemitism in mind when responding to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the present?

I found the framing here interesting too. Nowadays there seems to be a lot of attention to Muslim antisemitism, with both Islamist and anti-Islamist voices promoting the idea that Islam is inherently antisemitic (often referencing “apes and pigs” from Surah 5, and the many negative references to Jewish belief). The idea that Islam is not historically very interested in the Jews was surprising to me and I’m still trying to reconcile it with the history of antisemitism in Muslim lands.
