Ana, it is so tempting to lose sight of our destination, and to function as if what’s temporary is eternal. Because of His grace, God certainly gives us navigation tools such as logic and common sense, but we must remember that even logic is damaged by the fall, and our ability to understand all truth is broken because of our very bodies. Understanding that we ourselves are unreliable narrators forces us to rely on God’s grace and forgiveness.
