My idea(s) and work around combating supersessionism in my Christian community revolve firstly around my understanding of the Jewish community both around me and worldwide. I read books, and articles and listen to podcasts from both Jewish, Christian, and non-religious people on the topics of Zionism, Israel/Palestine, and the church’s role/responsibility in this topic. I have found the more I have learned and heard from several different preservatives the more able I able to enter into tough conversations, and provide education to fellow Christians in my community. Another way I have been active in combatting antisemitism is by leading groups to Israel as well as using my platform as a small group leader to have bible study/discussions around Jewish/Christian relations books and scriptures.
