Hi Blake, I agree with your observations on how Muslims and Christians share some commonality that can help us begin to dialogue. I had no idea, previous to this lecture, that Muslims, actually have a reverence to Jesus and Blessed Mary. I also agree with you on uniting with Muslims over topics such as abortion, transgenderism, and freedom of religion to make society a better place. One of my coworkers is Muslim, and she speaks so highly of Jesus, with so much respect. It reminded me of when Jesus said: “for whoever is not against us is for us. Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward” Mark 9:40-41.
