Reply To: In the first lecture, Dr. McDermott teaches that the Bible is one story, and that God upholds his covenant with the Jewish people to this very day. Was this what you were taught growing up? If not, how will this insight change the way you read the bible going forward?

Hi Kasey,
I laughed while reading your post about the effect that the Left Behind books had on you.

I also did not understand why antisemitism was present is Christian history before listening to Dr. McDermott. I hope Christianity continues to move past this history while not forgetting it.
