Muslims are outspoken critics of the excesses of secular liberal society, and they are natural allies to Christians against the rampant sexual degeneracy and hedonism that permeate our culture, especially coming from the alphabet soup movement. They force secular liberals to pit two of their most essential tenets against each other: either Islam is “wrongthink” and deserves ideological suppression (which forces liberals to impose Western ideas on a non-Western culture), or Islam’s opposition to sexual deviancy is a perfectly valid worldview under moral relativism.
