Reply To: Are there elements of ancient and/or modern Near Eastern Christianity that are present in your own church/faith life? If so, what are they? If not, would you be open to implementing any?

Aarin,

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness, as it is officially called, is a Hindu religious movement that is fundamentally incompatible with Christian orthodoxy. While all truth is indeed God’s truth, and while ISKCON may incidentally contain philosophical concepts that align with observable reality or certain aspects of Christianity, its core beliefs and practices (notably, the worship of the Hindu deity Krishna) are irreconcilable with the gospel of Jesus Christ. To treat it as a viable path to growing one’s faith is either idolatrous or syncretistic. It is a false religion that has nothing worthwhile to offer true Christians.
