I enjoyed reading your thoughts on this topic. I agree that Christians remembering how past Christians have treated Jews can keep those tragedies from occurring again. Unfortunately, many Western Christians are not aware of Christianity’s anti-Semitic past and how it has affected the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. An unfortunate consequence of this is that it can be harder for Christians to recognize anti-Semitism in their church, community, and news feed. In the future, I hope that more Christians gain a deeper understanding of how historical anti-Semitism perpetuated by Christians has had a lasting effect of Jews and the world.
