I thought the lesson to “seek the welfare of the city” was something that stood out in this course. It was cool how this lesson was based specifically to Jeremiah’s letter to the exiles in Jeremiah 29. It would not seem to be a stretch of application to say that God wants us today in our own cities to similarly “seek the welfare of the city” in order to maximize our gospel impact.
