Hi Deborah, I love how you contrasted the leader’s true responsibilities with these unnecessary burdens. We often expect too much of our leaders because we want them to fix all of our problems, but a true leader should be upfront about what they can and cannot accomplish. Acknowledging these shortcomings takes a lot of humility and wisdom, but as you said, if leaders are able to control their desire to try to fix everything, then they will actually be freed from overwhelming and unnecessary burdens.
