Thanks for your assessment, Maggie. I would definitely agree. I had a surface level understanding of the conflict and naturally leaned toward the pro-Israel side because of the faith tradition I grew up in. This course hasn’t changed my beliefs that the Jews are God’s chosen people and that Israel will play a significant role in the end times. It has, however, changed my view that there are actually a significant group of Palestinians who want a peaceful solution with Israel. I’m looking forward to learning more when I travel to Israel next month.
