Thanks for this honest assessment, Sarah. I am really looking forward to traveling to Israel next month to learn more about this conflict. As I stated in my post, I think it’s entirely compatible to support both Israel and Palestine and consistent with the Christian belief in human dignity. I think the peaceful Palestinians at the very least deserve the right to live peacefully within the state of Israel. The best solution would be to allow the peaceful Palestinians to have their own state, but that doesn’t resolve the issue of Hamas.
