It is interesting to consider Hebrew leadership in light of the words of the words in 1 Chronicles 12:32 where the “sons of Issachar” (descendants of Issachar) who joined with David were described as men “who understood the times and knew what Israel should do”. The God of the Hebrews hides truth for us and it is glory to conceal it and the glory of man (kings) to search it out. And yet there seems to be a particular anointing of wisdom of people who discern what time it is and act accordingly.
