So interesting Robert. I was raised Protestant non-denominational (with a twist of charismatic thrown in there for flavor!) We definitely veered towards dispensationalism at times, although for my entire life excluding the last year, I would have had no idea what that meant. It’s fascinating to me how the average Christian, focusing on living as Jesus taught us to live, can essentially skip so much of this doctrine … and yet have assumptions impact so much in the background.
