I enjoyed reading your post. Discussing this situation can be tricky, depending on the person on the other end of the conversation. It can get muddy fast. I agree that it is easier for people who have never experienced Israel to be distant from the conversation. Still, as Christians who have been to Israel and now have a better understanding that this fight is political and spiritual, we must support the right for Israel to exist. we also have the responsibility to love everyone, Israeli or Palestinian there is so much hurt on both sides that it’s impossible not to sympathize with both when we hear those personal stories.
