Good points! The “boss imposing agendas” model of leadership hasn’t fared too well…. especially in the Middle East. I love the course’s emphasis on “pluralism” in it’s best sense: the realization that people think differently than us, and before we can change anything, we need to understand the situation as they see it. If you think about it, Jesus did the same for us….. “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin…”
