Reply To: Why is it important for Christians to keep the sad history of Christian antisemitism in mind when responding to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the present?

Hi Stevin,
I couldn’t agree more with you. There’s a very authentic and practical aspect to the command of “loving your neighbor as yourself”. Yet, I know that I, along with most of the world struggle with sharing that love when confronted with opposing ideologies and beliefs. It’s easier to ignore them rather than show genuine love and interest. The cold indifference has often led to outright persecution in the past. And obviously, we know that neither of those actions are in line with what Christ commanded.
