I love your quotes from Kirk and Voegelin. The maintenance of ordered liberty is an idea unique to the Judeo-Christian background and as you said, comes the Hebraic leadership mindset and style. When you take the realization of being a unique living being, living in a world that’s created and ordered by God, and the significance that brings, it in its own way brings about a forced humility that Voegelin speaks about. You realize that you have a responsibility to care for and lead others, but have to combine it with the humility that ultimately God is Sovereign and in control. Thanks for bringing that point up.
