Reply To: Are there elements of ancient and/or modern Near Eastern Christianity that are present in your own church/faith life? If so, what are they? If not, would you be open to implementing any?

After this course, I can conclude that part of the legacy I experience from the history, is about experiencing God more through real life, than in a contemplative way or through images. Also, I am very involved in workkng for the communities in need, that also was a tradition in history, about helping others. Specifically I do this in Guatemala. Something I would like to be more open, is to approach other denominations from the Christian Church in my country, because although there are many churches, there us still some separate work and divided relationships. I recognize that the body of Christ is composed in many parts, and with unity we can create a bigger impact for society. Also, I liked the course mentioned the importance of ascetism, which remind me to keep separating more time to spend with God and meditate on him and His purpose in mu life to impact this world.
