I think it is eye-opening how much this course calls into question the narratives we receive from the media regarding the ongoing wars that are waged around the world every day. The constant focus of the media recently has been on the Ukraine-Russia conflict while simultaneously neglecting numerous other ongoing conflicts in the Near East and around the world. Indeed, asymmetric warfare, including information warfare, calls into question the narratives that we are told and calls into question the intent or agenda behind the information that others, including those in government and media, make the conscious decision to provide and focus on.
