Agree that the U.S. has the power and, therefore, the responsibility to act and advocate for peace and prosperity in the region and in all regions. While the fate of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict should be most determined by the Israeli and Palestinian peoples, we know there are many powers and actors and factors (historical, cultural, social, political, etc.) at play. The U.S. must do its part to help ensure the conditions are right to preserve and promote peace and help mediate, perhaps with other influential powers, a resolution to this conflict so all may progress and benefit from a lasting peace.
