This is a great point about the importance of studying the Old Testament as well as the New Testament. In a debate on the Bible, I heard a skeptic say that Christians may read a passage from the Old Testament out loud during a sermon, but they don’t incorporate it into their teachings. I don’t want that charge to be true! My family was very blessed with a community church whose pastor studied Hebrew and loved to teach about the Old Testament; now I realize that is unusual. I wonder where churches can find resources to make the Torah more accessible?
