Hello Kacie,

I completely agree with your point and I remember Dr.Faydra Shapiro. It was kind of painful and eye-opening to hear from a Jewish person telling us our history and our ancestors are the cause of the pain that we have set on her people. We must keep Jesus’s commandment closely tight to our hearts and love our neighbors even though they have wronged us. It is hard for us to turn to the other cheek but it is something that we must swallow. Our pride is with Jesus and not ourselves. We have to love others as Jesus first loved us even though we have rejected him first. It is tragic to learn that our ancestors did not keep this commandment and that they were busy fighting one another and other people as well during that era.
