Reply To: Why is it important for Christians to keep the sad history of Christian antisemitism in mind when responding to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the present?

It is important to recognize and analize the past to understand the present, and regarding antisemitism, many Jews knows that Christians were nor always available to help them when in need. Many theologies historically changed the vision and mission of supporting Israel from inside the Church, forgetting that Israel matters. As we studied in this course, Christianity has responsibility in this conflict, in a holistic perspective, and intrinsically builded a path for the construction of Zionism as a Jewish State, together with the international and political decisions about the division of the land of Israel. It is imperative to learn from history, to avoid repeating faults, but also this is a call to analyze all the implications on decisions we do as leaders in the Kingdom.
